Noi Doi

The performance “Noi Doi” presents a contemporary drama based on a real situation and brought to the level of an artistic act by the pencil of the dramaturgist Ileana Răducanu and the directorial Mrs. Doctor Honoris Causa Cătălina Buzoianu.

With a strong message behind, the play tracks the relationship between a Slovakian dad settled in Romania and his 10-year-old daughter. They both go through a great drama and try, in their own way, to take their lives further. They live from the memories of the past, forgetting that they are a family, but heir saving comes from where they expected less.

A dramatic theatrical play that not only shows  the relationship between father and daughter, but also points to extremely common social situations. A sad fact of life presented in a fun and ironic form. It breaks cultural differences, prejudices, and penetrates into the privacy of some characters who may even be the people next to us. The story of the two raises common, sometimes trivial problems that we face only after a loved one disappears from us.
